 Intraocular lens (IOL) is the most important factor determining the visual quality of patients after Phaco surgery.

HOW TO CHOOSE A SUITABLE IOL?

 This is a very small lens which is designed to suit the eye of each patient and replace the cloudy natural lens that has been crushed and sucked out in lens replacement surgery, helping to support aid to improve the eyesight of the patient.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF IOL:

 IOL has 2 main types: single-focal and multifocal IOL

 Traditional single-focal IOL improves patient vision by replacing cloudy lenses with a transparent lens which has the suitable focal power for each patient's eye. However, since a single-focal lens creates only one image convergence point, it only helps maintain good vision at a certain distance.
